Jeff is a native Floridian, born in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was baptized at Memorial Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach, and later confirmed at First Presbyterian Church of North Palm Beach. Rev. Beebe has served churches and ministries throughout the southeast for the past 29 years as an ordained PCUSA Teaching Elder/Minister of the Word and Sacrament. Prior to entering ordained ministry, Jeff was on Young Life staff in Florida, focused on reaching teenagers with the good news of life in Christ. Jeff’s doctorate work focused on engrafting adolescents into the community of faith through the Baptismal Vows. Rev. Beebe still makes it a priority to engage in opportunities to guide and nurture young people in their faith and he is even known to occasionally substitute teach. Jeff loves the outdoors and welcomes any opportunity to be on the water, fishing, taking a lap on a ski slope, or playing a round of golf. Jeff has achieved and maintains the highest level of certification as a Tier 3 Certified Coach with Special Olympics. And yes, Jeff is both an avid FSU Seminole and a UF Gator fan!
In 1988 Jeff married his high school sweetheart Cynthia (Cyndy) Marie Newell. He and Cyndy traveled north in 1991 for Jeff to attend Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. Following his seminary education, he served a church in Memphis, Tennessee prior to accepting his first ordained call to The Presbyterian Church of Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1994. In 2000 Jeff accepted a call to serve as Associate Pastor at Christ Presbyterian Church of Ormond Beach where he would serve until 2009. Over the next eight years, Jeff would serve the Church in and through several ministries before arriving at Trinity Presbyterian Church, in Palm Coast in 2017 to serve as transitional pastor. In 2020, he accepted the call to serve as their pastor where he currently serves. Jeff earned his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary and his Master of Divinity at Columbia Theological Seminary. He is a graduate of Florida State University.
Both Jeff and Cyndy are deeply rooted in Florida. Jeff’s mother (Faith) still resides in Palm Beach County, where he and Cyndy were raised. Jeff has two brothers (Bob & Mike), and a sister (Jana). Cyndy has two sisters (Laura & Jane) and a brother (Joe). Cyndy’s mother (Nita) lives in Melbourne, FL. Cyndy currently teaches mathematics at Seabreeze High School. Jeff and Cyndy have four adult children. Benjamin (31), a graduate of Florida State University has served the hospitality industry since graduating from FSU. Allacyn (28), who typically needs very little introduction, manages to teach us all daily lessons of life and faith, participates in local special needs programs and is a Special Olympics athlete. Megann (23), a graduate of University of Florida, currently works for Young Life. Erynn (21), a graduate of Seminole State College, holds her bachelor’s degree in interior design and is married to Luke Dillman. And least we not forget, Nala, the Beebe family’s faithful yellow lab.
