Work Day at Whispering Meadows Ranch – October 24, Saturday, 9:00-12:00
Located on a beautiful ranch just outside I-95 in Ormond Beach, Whispering Meadows is a 100% volunteer-based, nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to enriching the lives of those with disabilities and special needs through recreational, educational, and equine-assisted programs. Whispering Meadows is one of our newest mission partners, and Helping Hands Month is a great way to get to know them. On Saturday, October 24th, a team of volunteers will go to the ranch to help with projects around the grounds, including creating a new play area for their goats. Work will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, and bug spray; long pants are advisable. Water will be provided. Sign up to join the team in the Narthex during October. Questions can be directed to Amanda Wilson-Stovall.
