Second Annual Rise Against Hunger – October 18, Sunday, 11:00-1:00
Following an abbreviated Sunday worship service, all registered volunteers from our congregation will proceed to room 12 to pick up lunch, after which we’ll gather in the Haddad Fellowship Hall to receive inspiration and instructions from the Rise Against Hunger leaders. Join your friends in fellowship and service for a day you’ll remember!
Who? OBPC congregation volunteers (We’ll need 40-50 workers. Sign up online https://act.riseagainsthunger.org/event/e834036 or on paper in the Narthex).
What? We’ll gather around tables and pack meals for 10,000 hungry people around the world.
When? 10:30-11:00 Abbreviated Worship Service
11:00-11:30 Lunch
11:30-1:00 Packing meals, assembly-line style with your friends to feed
thousands!
