Scripture for the day is Proverbs 31:21-22, 24-25

She is not afraid for her household when it snows,
    for all her household are clothed in crimson.
She makes herself coverings;
    her clothing is fine linen and purple.

She makes linen garments and sells them;
    she supplies the merchant with sashes.
Strength and dignity are her clothing,
    and she laughs at the time to come.

After reading and reflecting on the passage, pray saying, Lord Jesus, life here wears us down and exhausts us until you give us the final rest and rich suites of your Father’s house (John 14:2). Teach us how to create homes that are places of order and refreshments that are foretastes of that, in which our families and friends can find haven. Amen.
