Scripture for the day is Proverbs 10:3-4

The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry,
but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.
A slack hand causes poverty,
but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

After reading and reflecting on the passage, pray saying, Lord, I praise you that, like a wise father, you may allow painful things into our lives, but it is to help us learn and grow (Hebrews 12:11). And we grow into maturity when we recognize that we already have our real wealth in your love and regard. Amen.
