Scripture for the day is Proverbs 16:20

Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper,
and happy are those who trust in the Lord.

After reading and reflecting on the passage, pray saying, Lord, how easily we Christians talk about “blessings.” But when I ponder the power of the biblical promise, I do hunger for the blessed life. But let me remember, “Blessed are those who hunger…for” not blessedness but “righteousness” (Matthew 5:6). Amen.
