What Your First Visit to OBPC May Look Like

The first time that you visit Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church you will find plenty of parking in our main parking lot at the corner of N. Halifax and Amsden Road. Handicapped parking spaces are available close to the church building. The sanctuary where our morning worship service takes place is on the West end of the campus – look for the large cross on the A-frame peak. If you have young children we encourage you to bring them with you to worship, or if you prefer to take your children (infant – 5 years) to our nursery, a greeter will show you the way.

During the gathering time prior to worship our sanctuary is busy and a little noisy with people visiting and welcoming one another. An usher or greeter will hand you a bulletin and help you find a seat. Worship begins with a few minutes of announcements followed by silent prayer and meditation as our organist plays a prelude. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month. All who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive communion. Our worship is grounded in the Reformed Presbyterian tradition where preaching, liturgy and inspirational music focus our attention on the Sovereign God.

On most Sundays our worship service is 60 – 70 minutes in length. If you are not in a hurry we hope that you can join us afterward for our fellowship time in the Haddad Fellowship Center across the courtyard from the sanctuary. We look forward to welcoming you on your first visit to Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church.
