90 Days of Prayer – Day 89

John 21:15-17:

Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my lambs.” A second time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Tend my sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter felt hurt because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” And he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know I love you,” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.”

Jesus has loved us, fed us and given us all we need for life and ministry. He calls us to love and feed others in his name.

Who are the people God is calling you to feed as his sheep? Pray for them now and ask God to prepare them to receive his message.

Life to God that which is on your heart today.

90 Days of Prayer – Day 88

1 Corinthians 12:4-8:

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious of boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.

Jesus has loved you with a love that never ends.

Who is the person God is calling you to love life this? How can you tangibly express this love today?

Lift to God that which is on your heart today.

90 Days of Prayer – Day 87

2 Timothy 2:1-2:

You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is Christ Jesus; and what you have heard from me through many witnesses entrust to faithful people who will be able to teach others as well.

Recall those faithful people God used to teach you and identify those God is calling you to teach.

Thank God for those who have taught you and pray that God will make you a faithful teacher in the lives of others.

Lift to God that which is on your heart today.
